AI Fit Assistant ("we", "our", or "the app") is a gym workout tracking and AI-powered plan generation application for Android. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.

Data We Collect

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to external servers (except as noted below for AI plan generation):

• Profile Information: Name, age, weight, height, gender, fitness level, training goals, injury areas, and focus areas you enter in the app.
• Workout Data: Exercises performed, sets, reps, weights, workout dates, and personal records.
• App Preferences: Theme selection, training program settings.

Data Sent to External Services

Google Gemini AI (Firebase AI Logic)

When you generate an AI workout plan and have an internet connection, the app sends the following to Google's Gemini AI service:

• Summarized performance snippets (not your full workout history)
• Your fitness profile (age, weight, fitness level, goals, injury areas)
• Available exercise names from the app's built-in database

This data is used solely to generate a personalized workout plan and is processed according to Google's Privacy Policy and Google's Generative AI Terms.

Firebase Crashlytics

The app uses Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous crash reports to improve app stability. This may include:

• Device model and OS version
• App version
• Stack traces of crashes (no personal data)

Crashlytics data is processed according to Google's Firebase Privacy Policy.

Firebase Analytics

The app uses Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics such as screen views and feature usage. No personally identifiable information is collected. This data is processed according to Google's Privacy Policy.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your email address, phone number, or any contact information.
• We do not collect your location data.
• We do not collect photos, files, or media from your device.
• We do not collect financial or payment information.
• We do not sell, share, or trade any user data with third parties.

Data Storage and Security

• All workout data and profile information is stored locally on your device.
• No user accounts are required to use the app.
• Data is not synced to any cloud service.
• Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.

Offline Functionality

The app is designed to work fully offline. AI plan generation can use on-device AI (Google ML Kit Gemini Nano) when available, requiring no internet connection. The cloud AI feature is optional and only activated when the device is online.

Children's Privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Rights

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control:

• Access: All your data is visible within the app at all times.
• Delete: You can delete individual workouts, clear your profile, or uninstall the app to remove all data.
• Portability: Your data stays on your device under your control.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
